Benefits of membership

  • Busy sailing programme from March to November There are races every day at weekends and public holidays and also midweek evening races.
  • Annual Regatta and family Sea Week
  • This is a large event and very popular with the members. The whole week is crammed with sailing and non-sailing fun activities. Making use of the superb position and facilities in the height of summer.
  • Active cadet programme including cadet socials Members children or cadet members can come along to the weekly cadets training evening to learn to sail and let off steam in a fun environment.
  • Many training courses to improve your skills and confidenceAs mentioned earlier, the club arranges all kinds of training by RYA qualified instructors to improve your sailing and enable you to participate in the club and race organisation.
  • Fun and regular social events all year round
  • Social events are an important aspect of the club and all are welcome, these vary enormously from gourmet meals to salsa lessons. All held in the clubhouse throughout the year.
  • Club bar and beach viewing deck.
  • The bar offers a good selection of beers, wines and spirits all at ‘member club prices’. The large deck provides the perfect spot to sit and watch the sailing.
  • Galley serving meals, snacks and drinks. For the benefit of all members there is a ‘galley’ offering meals, hot drinks and snacks.
  • Modern, spacious changing and shower facilities.
  • A large and recent investment means we now have some exceptional changing rooms and shower rooms. Essential for sailors but also brilliant for the family when at the beach.
