The house committee would be pleased to receive ideas for future club socials, or hear from anyone wishing to join the house committee.

It's great to see so many boats arriving on the beach but please remember the following points:

No boats to be parked near the fire exit doors to the changing rooms

Please leave gaps in line with the East Winch between the boats to allow boats to be pulled up and then wheeled through to avoid the need to move the pulley block  each time

Valid Boat Stickers to be displayed on transoms

We shall be taking a much harder stance on offenders this year so do not be surprised to find your boat moved to the sin bin if you do not obsereve these simple rules.

I would also draw your attention to a change in our sailing instructions this year where it is recommended that all boats have a device fitted to prevent the centre / dagger board retracting fully. This has been recommended following a father and daughter drowning at another club through  an entrapment incident. Our hearts go out to the family, friends and members of their club. Please do something to prevent this tragedy being repeated at Bexhill.
